Piña Colada South Seas Smoothie Shake
We’d have to go to the decade’s of the 1820’s to find the famous Puerto Rican pirate Roberto Cofresí Ramírez de Arellano. He’s the original author of the wondrous flavor we now call pina colada.
Back then it was a drink made of coconut and pineapple juice and spiked with white rum (he was a pirate after all).
We’ve taken the best of this fragrant mix and added our own healthy twist to it (in other words we’ve scratched the rum) so that you can enjoy great taste and feel fit too. It makes a great late afternoon refresher and pick-me-up.
To make our ice we used tap water that was filtered with this.
Ingredients:
• Cinch Vanilla Shake Mix
• 4 oz. non-fat milk or low-fat soy milk
• 4 oz. fresh, chopped pineapple
• 1/2 tsp. coconut extract
• 4-6 ice cubes
Blend until creamy. Clean blender with an environmental safe cleaner and water and turn on
